Description
This embroidery comes from an original design I made for screenprinting. I’ve taken part of the design I made for a length of fabric I screen-printed, and digitised it for embroidery. Very Celtic!
I found these beautiful hand made glass beads in turquoise & rose, and thought how I could accentuate these beautiful beads……. I hand-dyed the cotton velvet to a similar purple, and found just the right shade of turquoise satin for the lining, and embroidery.

Outer:- Hand-dyed cotton velvet, embroidered with knotwork
Inner:- Satin
Satin cord finished with handmade glass beads & metal beads
